The 294 room Sugar Bay Resort (northeast side of St Thomas) has a secluded beach and three interconnecting swimming pools with a waterfall. There are three restaurants and three lounges, four lighted tennis courts, a full service spa, gift shops, and a fitness center with aerobic, pilates, and yoga classes. The resort has live entertainment in the evenings, a small casino with video slot, and an extensive watersports program.

There is a complimentary club for children 4-12 years. The tour desk can arrange (for an extra charge) babysitting, spa services, water skiing, scuba diving, parasailing, deep sea fishing, car rentals, mini golf, or golf tee times at the nearby 18-hole Mahogany Run Golf Course.

All rooms at the Sugar Bay have 475 sq. feet of space, air conditioning, one king or two double beds, hair dryer, cable television, clock radio, multi line telephone with voice mail, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and board, in room safe, and a two-chair dining set. In room wireless internet service is available for US$ 15 daily. Handicapped accessible rooms and non smoking rooms are available on request.

Resort View Rooms are on lower floors and have tropical views.

Bay View Rooms have a partial ocean view.

Oceanview Rooms are on higher floors with a panoramic view of the ocean and neighboring islands.
