The twenty-room Palms at Pelican Cove (formerly named the Cormorant Beach Club) rests on a mile of white sandy beach along the north shore of St. Croix. The resort has a huge swimming pool and two tennis courts.

The Palms beachfront restaurant and bar have open air dining for three meals daily. The restaurant has a special Sunday Brunch and Sushi and Saki Sundays. A hundred feet offshore lies Long Reef with excellent snorkelling.

The activities desk at the Palms can arrange golf tee times, scuba diving, car rentals, babysitting and watersports activities.

The Palms beach is a protected nesting site for sea turtles: the endangered leatherneck, the small green turtle and the hawksbill. Guests may join the summer nighttime watches sponsored by the St. Croix Environmental Association.

All rooms at the Palms are air conditioned with ceiling fans, cable tv, refrigerator and coffee maker. Rooms have a double-sink, in-room safe, and private patio or balcony. Superior Gardenview Rooms have one queen bed and are located in the tropical gardens with a partial ocean view. Deluxe Gardenview Rooms are larger with one king or two queen beds.

Superior Beachfront Rooms have one queen bed and ocean views. Deluxe Beachfront Rooms are larger with one king or two queen beds. Guests can request ground level rooms that open onto a private patio or second floor rooms with a private balcony.

10% service charge and 8% USVI tax are extra charges. These US$ rates are nightly for two persons. Room rates include free local telephone calls, wireless internet access and a scuba lesson in the swimming pool. Children 15 or younger stay free in parents' room. A third guest in the room 16+ pays US$ 25 nightly.
