The
Emerald Beach Resort, a Best Western Plus property, is a delightful
90-room beachfront resort located on Lindbergh Bay Beach on
the south coast of St. Thomas. The resort is two miles from
duty free shopping, and is convenient to the Cyril King airport.
There are many activities available at the resort: tennis
courts, a PADI scuba dive shop, gift shop and newsstand, swimming
pool with waterfall, hot tub, business services center with
computers, and a 24-hour exercise facility. The water sports
shop rents snorkel equipment, kayaks, sunfish sailboats, and
peddle boats.
The
activities desk can arrange day sails to St. John and the
British Virgin Islands, island tours, parasailing, and golf
tee times. The Portobello Restaurant and the Beach Bar Grill
are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus special Sunday
morning Brunch and Friday night West Indian Buffet with live
steel pan music. The meeting/banquet facilities, accommodating
up to 75 guests, are ideal for romantic destination weddings.
All
rooms at the Emerald Beach are air conditioned face the ocean
with private balconies. Rooms have either one king or two
double beds. Room amenities include flat screen satellite
television, DVD player, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, am/fm
clock radio, iron and board, in room safe, and hair dryer.
Handicapped accessible rooms are available with wide doorways.
Guests enjoy complimentary high speed in-room internet access.
