The
Five Star 160 room Carambola Beach Resort rests on 28 acres
along Davis Bay on St. Croix's north shore. The resort has
a long sandy beach, fitness center, swimming pool and whirlpool,
tennis courts, game room, 18 hole championship golf course,
and a full service spa. There are two restaurants and bars,
scuba dive center and a gift shop.
Carambola's
activities desk can arrange golf tee times, Buck Island snorkelling
trips, car rentals, Cruzan Rum Distillery tours, horseback
riding, Salt River kayaking, and island tours.
The Carambola
Beach Resort is comprised of twenty-six two-story buildings.
Each building has three suites on each floor. All rooms and
suites are air conditioned. Gardenview rooms and suites overlook
the tropical gardens. Oceanfront rooms and suites have ocean
views and are closer to the beach
Gardenview
and Oceanfront Rooms
(563 sq ft) have a king bed, cable tv, separate sitting area
with sofabed, ceiling fan, rocking chair, desk and private
screened patio. The bathroom has a double vanity, walk in
closet, hair dryer and large shower. Rooms have a coffee maker,
iron and board and in room safe.
Luxury
Gardenview and Oceanfront Suites
(563 sq ft) are appointed with granite and marble throughout.
These air conditioned suites have a king bed and a fully equipped
kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, porcelain top stove,
dishwasher, coffee maker, glassware and silverware. The living
area has a flat screen television, sofa sleeper, ceiling fan,
and in room safe. Bathrooms have an iron and board, hair dryer
and a walk in marble shower. Each suite has a private screened
balcony or patio.
