The newest
resort on the island of St. Maarten/St. Martin is the Five Star
luxurious 311 room Westin Dawn Beach Resort. The resort faces miles
of white sand beach and has the largest infinity swimming pool on
the island. Guests have a choice of two restaurants and bars with
24 hour room service available.
Facilities at the Westin Dawn Beach include a fully equipped fitness
center; European-style full service Hibiscus spa; freshwater pool
with swim up bar, waterfall and whirlpool; 10,000 sq. ft. casino
with slot machines, video poker, and gaming tables; scuba dive shop
and watersports center; a Westin Children's Club (US$ 25 per child
4-12 years for a half day); and retail shops offering
duty free prices.
The concierge desk can arrange tee times at the 18
hole Mullet Bay Golf Course; car rentals; day trips to Anguilla,
St. Barths, and Saba; kayak rentals; deep sea fishing; scuba diving;
parasailing; sunset cruises; Atlantis semi-submarine rides; and
tours to the Butterfly Farm, Botanical Gardens, and Nature Preserve.
All rooms at the Westin Dawn Beach are
air conditioned with Westin Heavenly Beds and Baths. The 400 sq.
ft. rooms have one king or two queen beds.
Rooms are on the first, second and third floors. All rooms have
an iron and board, in-room safe, ceiling fan, minibar, satellite
television, AM/FM clock radio, wireless in-room internet access,
bathrooms with dual shower heads and bathtub; and private balcony
with French doors.
Resortview Rooms overlook the tropical
gardens.

footsteps from the beach.
Two
Bedroom Condos units have
two bedrooms and two baths, a full kitchen, sofabed in the living
room, balcony with French doors, ocean views, satellite tv, in-room
