our special low rates at the Bitter End. The eighty
five room Bitter End Yacht Club on the north coast of
Virgin Gorda is the ultimate watersports resort. There
are running tracks, hiking trails, three beaches, swimming
pool, four restaurants and bars, an outdoor movie theater,
and gift shops.
The
carefully maintained fleet includes: Hobie cats, Lasers,
Optimists, Rhodes 19s, Hunter 21s, windsurfing gear,
kayaks and Boston Whalers powerboats. Guests have complimentary
use of the Club's fleet of boats.
The resort
has computers with internet access for guests' use,
as well as wireless internet access in the lobby area.
All villas and suites at the Bitter End feature: private
bath with shower; ceiling fan; telephone; coffee maker;
mini refrigerator; and ocean views. Hair dryers are
available on request.
Garden Villas have
tropical views, one king or two twin beds, private patio
with hammock, and ceiling fans. Maximum occupancy is
three guests.
Beachfront Cottages
are spacious with two twins or one king bed, large private
patio with hammock, and ceiling fan. Maximum occupancy
in Beachfront Villas is three guests.
Premium Beachfront Cottages
(units 7-12 N/S) are the same design
as beachfront villas, and are fully air conditioned.
North
Sound Suites
are air conditioned with one king or two queen beds,
television/VCR, private balcony, and panoramic views
of the North Sound. North Sound Suites accommodate up
to four guests.
The Two
Room Family Suite rate is for two adults
and one or two children 17 years or younger staying
in two connecting cottages. One bedroom has a king bed,
and the second bedroom has two queen beds.
Children five years or older enjoy the daily activities
program which includes: a junior watersports program;
lessons for sailing, windsurfing or snorkelling; sand
painting; guided walks' or storytelling and snorkelling
trips.

service charge and 7% tax are extra charges. These
US$ rates are based on two persons sharing a room
and include: three meals daily plus unlimited
use of the Club's fleet of boats and watersports
equipment.
Children ages 6-12, sharing a room with parent(s)
pay US$ 85 nightly. (Children 0-5 years stay and
eat free.) 3rd or 4th guests 13+ years sharing
a room, pay US$ 155 nightly. During the holiday
period of 18 Dec to 1 Jan each year, extra guests
of any age (including children) pay US$ 250 per
person nightly.
For single occupancy, deduct US$ 100 nightly from
the double room rates. 11% service charge and
7% tax are additional charges.
Guests staying seven nights or longer also enjoy
the Admirals Package features: sunset cruises,
Sunday regattas and parties, snorkeling trips,
champagne cruise, day trip to the Baths, sailing
lessons and other extra excursions.
Roundtrip ferry transfer from Tortola Airport
to the Bitter End Dock is US$ 70 per person. Children
12 or younger enjoy complimentary ferry transfers.
Guests taking the 8 pm ferry from Tortola Airport
to the Bitter End pay a surcharge of US$ 35 per
person one way. |
