The 694 room Sheraton Nassau Beach (previously named "Cable Beach") Resort is a multi story hotel on seven acres of tropical grounds, facing a 1000' white sandy beach. The resort has three freshwater pools with waterfalls; oversized whirlpool swim up bar; beach volleyball; fitness center; snorkelling, kayaks, aqua cycles and Hobie Cat sailboats. There is a daily children's club with supervised activities. The Crystal Palace Casino and a shopping center are adjacent to the Sheraton.

The resort has six restaurants and bars. Room service is available daily from 6 am to 11 pm. The 18 hole Cable Beach Golf Course is across the street from the resort.

The concierge desk can arrange deep sea fishing, scuba diving, bicycle and moped rentals, jet skiing, parasailing, dolphin swims and island tours.

The air conditioned rooms at the Nassau Beach have 330 sq ft of living area plus a private balcony or patio. Rooms are furnished with one king or two double "Sheraton Sweet Sleeper" beds.

Rooms have a 32" flat screen television with in-room movies; dual line telephone with free local calls; iron and board; high speed internet access; hair dryer; in room safe; clock radio; mini bar; and coffee maker. Handicap accessible rooms may be requested.

Oceanview Rooms are on higher floors overlooking the pool and the ocean. Luxury Pool View Rooms 330 sq. ft. are on the ground floor, with an extended patio for easy access to the pool. These rooms are perfect for families.

18% Bahamas tax and US$ 40 per room daily resort gratuity are extra charges. These rates are nightly for two guests. Children 17 or younger stay free in parent's room.
