The
court must receive all documents at least eight (8) business days
prior to the wedding. All documents must be typed. The court will
not accept a fax or hand written copy of completed legal paperwork.
Please mail the following documents directly to the court (address
above):
*Marriage
license and marriage certificate application
*Letter detailing that you will be getting married at the Grand
Beach Palace, date of visit, length of stay and approximate date
you will pick up the license.
*Certified copy of divorce decree (if applicable).
*Certified copy of former spouse's death certificate (if applicable)
*US$100 must be sent with the application in the form of a money
order or certified check payable to: Territorial Court of the Virgin
Islands.
Important information:
*Prior to the ceremony the bride and groom must personally pick
up the license at the court and request 2 to 3 certified copies
($2 each) to be mailed to you directly.
*If picking up license on a Sunday or holiday, arrangements with
the court are required prior to arrival (Note: there is an additional
$150 license fee on Sundays and holidays).
*The court does not accept credit cards or personal checks.
*No blood test or physical examination is required.
*Send all information by certified mail by a company that provides
a traceable mail route, i.e. FedEx or Express Mail..
*Proper attire required at the court. No shorts or sandals permitted.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the wedding couple to submit all
documents and obtain marriage license/certificate. Please call the
Territorial Court of the Virgin Islands prior to arrival to verify
all documents have been received and license fees have not changed.

Dress Code: Formal or semi-formal, no shorts or bathing suits.
Payment
Policy:
A 50% deposit of the complete package is required 14 days after
confirmation is received. Final payment is due 45 days prior to
ceremony. A cancellation penalty of $500 will apply to all wedding
packages if reservation is cancelled within 30 days of wedding date.
