Forty-unit Privilege Resort and Spa is on the French side of St. Martin above Anse Marcel Beach. The resort is 4 km from Grand Case and Marigot and 18 km from Juliana Airport. This luxury resort has a full service spa, two restaurants, four tennis courts lighted for night play, one squash court, one racquetball court, three swimming pools, and a fully equipped fitness center. Deep sea fishing, windsurfing, scuba diving, sailing, horseback riding, jet ski rental, golf tee times, and island tours can be arranged with the concierge. There is a free shuttle to the casinos in the evening.

All rooms at the Privilege have remote control air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, in-room safe, cable television, VCR, radio and CD player, direct dial telephone and ocean views. The marble bathrooms have a hair dryer and both 110 and 220 volt outlets. Deluxe Rooms are spacious (600 sq. ft) and have a king bed, double sofabed, and a private balcony with panoramic views.

One Bedroom Suites (1000 sq. ft) have a king bed, a separate living room with pullout sofa, two bathrooms, and a private balcony with ocean views. Some of the junior suites are handicapped accessible. Two Bedroom Suites (1400 sq. ft.) have two bedrooms and two baths, a living room and private balconies with ocean views. Bedrooms have one king or two double beds.

The seven bedroom, seven bath Privilege Villa has a large (900 sq. ft.) living room and a covered patio with barbeque grill. There is a fully equipped kitchen, laundry area, and a freshwater swimming pool (600 sq. ft.) The Privilege Villa is one of the most luxurious in the Caribbean, and can be rented as a three bedroom and a four bedroom villa, as well as a seven bedroom unit. Rates for the villa are weekly, and include maid service. The 5% gov't tax is additional.

These US dollar rates are per room, per night, and include full breakfast and complimentary leisure and sports activities (tennis, squash, racquetball, weight lifting, and aerobic activities) and spa facilities (whirlpool and steam room). Service charge is included in the rates. 5% government tax is extra.
