Luxury beachfront Copamarina Resort is on the south coast of the island, in Guanica, near the city of Ponce. This resort rests on 20 acres of tropical gardens and fronts one of Puerto Rico's most beautiful and secluded beaches. Nearby are the Tibes Indian Ceremonial Center (a pre-Colombian Stonehenge), La Parguera Phosphorescent Bay, and the Guanica Dry Coastal Forest: a UNESCO world biosphere reserve that is home to hundreds of plants, trees and resident migratory birds.

Dive Copamarina is a PADI authorized dive center with a 42 ft. dive boat. Divers and snorkellers can explore a 22 mile long vertical coral wall, a mile from the dock.

The resort has an outstanding spa, two swimming pools, jacuzzi, playground for children, oceanview cafe and a gourmet dining room. The watersports center rents kayaks, catamarans, water bikes, and sailboards.

The 106 rooms and suites are located in two story buildings, facing the beach and surrounded by palm trees. Rooms have one king or two twin beds, private patios or balconies, mini-refrigerators, in-room safe, cable television, coffee maker, hair dryer in the bathroom, and telephone with a computer data ports.

Gardenview Rooms have a patio or balcony and garden views. Oceanview Rooms face the ocean.

One Bedroom Suites have a large bedroom with a king bed, two double sofa beds in the living room, private balcony or patio, two bathrooms, a dining room and two televisions.

Three Bedroom Villas overlook the beach and have 2,600 sq. ft. of luxurious living space. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bath. The second and third bedrooms share a bath and have one queen and two twin beds. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, washer/dryer, and utensils. The dining room seats six persons. The living room has an entertainment center with television, VCR and DVD player.

Transfers can be arranged from San Juan Airport, 90 miles away, for US$ 100 per person roundtrip. Transfers from Aguadilla, Ponce, and Mayaguez Airport can also be arranged.
