The Sheraton Our Lucaya Resort offers two championship 18-hole golf courses. The 18-hole Lucayan Course (designed by Dick Wilson) stretches for 6,824 years with a par of 72. Testing precision rather than distance, the doglegs, elevated greens and thick strands of tropical foliage, make Lucayan course so challenging. The tall trees give shade from the sun and other players on the course. With wide target areas off the tee and well protected greens, the Lucayan course is a great place to enjoy the game. 72 Reef Course has 13 holes bordered by water. Designed by Robert
Trent Jones Jr. in a contemporary links style, the Reef Course requires
a different playing style from the Lucayan Course. A strong short
game helps keep the score low on this breathtaking course. The wide
fairways may be a little forgiving but the huge bunkers that protect
the greens are not. The large, level greens may please the eye,
but their speed will harm your scorecard. Add unpredictable ocean
breezes, and you have a formidable opponent. All guest rooms and suites
at the Sheraton Our Lucaya have a working desk, chair with ottoman,
DSL in-room computer access, telephone, television, mini bar, and
Sheraton amenities including the Sheraton Suite Sleeper, bath with
shower tub combo and hair dryer. Rooms have one king or two double
beds. Pool View Rooms (375 sq. ft.) face the water with a private patio or balcony. Rooms have a chair with ottoman, and connecting rooms are available on request. Oceanview Rooms (375 sq. ft.) have a patio or balcony and ocean views. Connecting rooms can be requested. Deluxe
Ocean Suites (750 sq. Ft.) are luxurious two room suites with
ocean views. These suites have a king bed, private balcony, kitchenette,
and a sitting room with single sofa bed. Ocean Suites connect with
Oceanview Rooms with two double beds for larger families.
